Stephen Cook began his career as a junior chemist in 1968. He trained as a PE teacher in Leeds from 1971 to 1974 and qualified with Certificate in Education. He taught PE at first, becoming head of year in 1985 and works experience coordinator in 1988 in the secondary sector, closely involved in delivering PSHE (Personal Social and Health Education). Stephen has a professional interest in methods of education which aim to reduce harm and promote self esteem. Since retiring in 1995 Stephen has had various part time roles, including becoming a Reader in the Church of England in 2000. In 2002 Stephen became Operations Manager for Contraception Education, and is responsible for handling all orders, collating and checking materials, as they arrive from Moorland Plastics, prior to packaging and distribution EMail Stephen
