Below are Contraception Education's links to contraception, safe sex sites and sexual health resources. We work alongside many of these organisations to coordinate safer sex education materials for Personal Social and Health Education (PSHE & PSHCE) teachers.

Information service on family planning and all aspects of sexual health.

Fertility UK
Gives broad info fertility awareness and natural family planning, but does not teach the method, contact can be made with trained teachers for this - NB this method does not offer protection from sexually transmitted diseases.

I Wanna Know
The Website of ASHA The American Social Health Association. This provides extensive information, written for young people in reasonably accessible language, about sexual issues. There is a game room, a chat room, a huge glossary of terms, pages for example on coping during puberty, choosing to have sex.

Information-Plus
A specialist developer of innovative multimedia software addressing social and behavioural issues - known as "Social Learning Software". Information-Plus is working with Contraception Education Limited in the conversion of Contraception the Board Game to the CD Rom version.

Gynaecology and Obstetrics, chapter 246 "Family Planning" Available form the Website of Merck and Co., Inc. A resume of methods of contraception, sterilisation and induced abortion. The publication is by the pharmaceutical company.

This is a USA Website with information about Emergency Contraception and many other sexual health and contraception issues. It offers a balanced perspective incorporating both easy to read information and also research papers and academic websites.

Playing Safely
This is Health Promotion England´s website on sexual health. It includes two gambling games to illustrate the Sex Lottery, and other excellent resources, such as information, advice, addresses and contact numbers for local GUM and family planning clinics.

Safer Dates
A reference point for everyone, with information about how to enjoy dating safely, how to protect yourself in different situations and environments including the internet.

The Site
The Website of Youth Net Uk. A site for young people including sex, pregnancy, sexual health relationships and much more. Very clear information and advice, very easy to navigate, young people evidently very comfortable here in raising their queries on sexual matters.

Trust for the Study of Adolescence
Organisation promoting research into the social issues impacting on young people and the dissemination of that information.
